Description
100 ml liquefied gas correspond to 88 g ethylchloride.
The spray tin contains ethylchloride, a clear, colourless, liquefied gas, which corresponds to the quality requirements of BP and USP.
ETHYLCHLORIDE SPRAY WALTER RITTER is applied in local skin anesthesia for a great number of indications. Its anesthetic effect is achieved by the spraying process, because ethylchloride, previously liquefied by compression, evaporates and consequently a coldness is produced which leads to a refrigeration and brings about a numbness of the sprayed areas of the skin and thus a pain alleviation. ETHYLCHLORIDE SPRAY WALTER RITTER is supplied in handy and attractive spray tins which offer advantages in comparison with ampoules or glass bottles (unbreakable, flat bottom). The spray tin does not contain any propellant. The spraying head guarantees a point-shaped stream by which an optimal application is achieved.
In local skin anesthesia ETHYLCHLORIDE SPRAY WALTER RITTER is sprayed onto the areas of the skin to be treated from a distance of about 30 cm until a fi ne white fi lm is being produced - thereafter do not continue spraying to avoid skin burning.
